[Match Report] Shingo Double Powers Away Victory

League Round 10. After suffering a defeat in the previous match, Albirex Niigata FC (S) traveled to the home ground of Young Lions. As we continue our push to break into the top ranks, this was a match we simply could not afford to lose.
Albirex started the match on the front foot, launching aggressive attacks from the opening whistle.
In the 6th minute, Shingo Nakano connected with a cross from Yang Hyeonju, but the attempt narrowly missed the target.
Albirex continued to control possession.
In the 14th minute, Yang Hyeonju broke through on the left flank and delivered a final pass to Nakano, but it did not result in a shot.
Two minutes later, in the 16th minute, Cho Eunsu fired a powerful mid-range shot, but it was saved by the opposing goalkeeper. Despite creating several chances, the opening goal remained elusive.
In the 23rd minute, Nakano headed home a cross from Yang Hyeonju on the left side to score the long-awaited opening goal.
In the 43rd minute, Syed Firdaus attempted a shot from another Yang Hyeonju cross, as Albirex continued to press forward relentlessly.
Throughout the first half, Yang Hyeonju was instrumental in creating multiple chances, but no additional goals were scored, and the team went into halftime with a 1–0 lead.
In the second half, the tempo of the match slightly settled.
In the 59th minute, Kim Taewoo redirected a cross from Yang Hyeonju, allowing Nakano to get a shot away, but it did not find the back of the net.
However, in the 63rd minute, Nozomi Ozawa capitalized on an opponent’s mistake and sent a cross into the penalty area. Nakano reacted quickly to a defensive clearance error and calmly slotted the ball home to extend the lead.
In the 69th minute, the opponents broke through on the left side and managed a shot, but goalkeeper Hassan Sunny produced an excellent save to deny them.
In the 90th minute, 17-year-old Helmi Shahrol, making a rare appearance, unleashed a shot that struck the crossbar. The team maintained their attacking intent until the final whistle.
The match ended 2–0. Albirex delivered a stable and disciplined performance both offensively and defensively to secure a well-deserved victory.
