We are pleased to announce that Albirex Niigata FC (S) has entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement with SETAGAYA UNITED.

In 2016, at the age of 26, I tried to become a professional footballer by going abroad but couldn't find a team. Just as I was thinking about retiring, I received an offer from Chairman Korenaga to start my career with Albirex Niigata FC (S). This opportunity allowed me to travel to many cities as a professional footballer in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan, where I met many wonderful people. Inspired by these experiences, I founded SETAGAYA UNITED to give back to the sport I love.

The team captain, Kento Fukuda, has also played in Singapore for many years, including with Albirex Niigata FC (S). Additionally, Shingo Nakano, who played last year, recently started his professional football career with Albirex Niigata FC (S). This establishes a strong connection between SETAGAYA UNITED and Albirex Niigata FC Singapore.

Through this partnership, we aim to contribute to the football scenes in Japan and Singapore, and to our beloved sport, by expanding opportunities for everyone involved in football.

Thank you for your continued support. We are pleased to announce our partnership with SETAGAYA UNITED.

In 2016, we played a season together with the CEO of SETAGAYA UNITED, Mr. Jitozono. As a player at the time, I still remember Mr. Jitozono's commitment and passion for the team. I still get excited when I recall his passing and free kick skills with his left foot. Seeing Mr. Jitozono now, actively involved as a club representative, always inspires me.

We have now decided to cooperate with SETAGAYA UNITED in player scouting. Shingo Nakano, who joined our team midway through the season, would not have been able to make the move without their help. We hope to continue building on our cooperation in the future, leading to significant development for both sides.
