Albirex Niigata FC (S) S.E.A Cup 2023 brought to you by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine System Asia.
The first ever Albirex(S) S.E.A Cup 2023, sponsored by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine System Asia, concluded with a vibrant three-day event in Singapore.
The welcome party on 1st December featured opening performance by the energetic Albirex White Swans , team cohesion activities, including performances like team dances, providing an enjoyable start to the tournament.
Day 2 hosted the grand finals at ITE West College, with Taiwan securing 1st place, followed by Thailand in 2nd and Indonesia in 3rd. The weather was kind to us on the day and it only poured nearing to the Prize Presentation Ceremony. After the tournament was over, teams explored iconic Singaporean locations like Marina Bay Sands, Bugis Street, Queensway, Chinatown, and Mustafa Centre.
On Day 3 at Jurong East Stadium, teams participated in combined training and selection. Taiwan claimed 4 awards, Indonesia and Thailand each secured 2, and Brunei earned 2 awards, including one for Prince Abdul Muntaqim. The day concluded with a joyful time at Jurong East Swimming Complex, featuring the wave pool and lazy river.
Teams then headed to Changi Airport and flew home safely after an exhilarating and memorable three days in Singapore.
