Albirex battled back to earn a 1-1 draw with DPMM Brunei FC at Jalan Besar Stadium this evening.
DPMM led through Abdul Azizi Rahman, when a defensive lapse allowed him to break through 1v1 against Kai Yamamoto, playing his last match for the White Swans before going to the United States to further his studies.
The White Swans dominated the whole proceedings but could not find a way past the DPMM defence. The first half ended 1 nil.
Head Coach Yoshinaga threw on striker Keito Komatsu in the second half in place of Junki Yoshimura. The substitution paid dividends immediately as Komatsu equalised 5 minutes upon coming on.

However, the White Swans were not able to find a second goal and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
