On Saturday, February 11th, we held an event with children from our soccer school, cheer dance school, football academy, and YAFA (Yuhua Albirex Football Academy)
YAFA is an academy established in cooperation with the Yuhua community.

The venue was at the Jurong West Stadium. Blessed with fine weather, all 184 participants gathered on the pitch for a day of physical exercise and interaction with the top team players.


First, the players introduced themselves.
All the Japanese players have been replaced from last year except for two players, Keito Hariya (No. 3) and Tadanari Lee (No. 19).
They introduced themselves in English and seemed to immediately win the hearts of the children.


After self-introductions, new player Hassan Sunny gave the speech.
He has played over 100 games for the Singapore national team, and very popular with the local children.
He thanked them for their support and said he wanted everyone to have fun the day.


And then, There was a performance by the cheer dance school students. The cheerleaders have always performed energetically at home matches, but this was a rare opportunity to see them up close and personal. The cheer school students showed the results of their daily practice to the best of their ability!


The session started with a catch and catch.
Players and top team staff also took part, running around.

Each school was then divided into teams and played a mini-game of football with top team players.
Cheer dance schools don't often play football, but it was impressive to see them chasing the ball enthusiastically with the players.


The Soccer School, Football Academy and YAFA students are playing football, but with the inclusion of top team players, the intensity of the competition was exceptionally different from the usual session.
They enjoyed the rare opportunity to play football with professional players.

After the session, Tadanari Lee and coach Kazuaki Yoshinaga gave messages to the children on behalf of the players.
They expressed their gratitude to the children for their support.
They also said that football becomes a lot of fun when you find favorite player and cheer for the player.

Afterwards, We took group photo and each sudent seemed to enjoy interacting with the top team players.

It was the first school event for the players who joined this season.
The players seemed to be able to get to know each other through activities and games.


The players will express themselves on the pitch so that we can give the children dreams.


The players are now ready for the Community Shield on Sunday, 19th Feb.
Kick-off at 6pm at Jalan Besar Stadium.
