The inaugural Singapore Premier League season reaches its half way mark with the White Swans played its 12th match tonight.

12 matches 12 wins and the White Swans kept creating history along the way. Goalscoring hotshot, "Jumbo" Shuhei Hoshino scored a brace tonight to extend his lead at the goalscoring chart to 13 goals. Left back Kenya Takahashi scored a beautiful free kick to complete the 3 nil victory against a determined Home Utd.

The White Swans could not find a breakthrough in the first half and labored to a goalless first half. However, Captain Wataru Murofushi sliced open the Home Utd defense with a wonderful through pass to Jumbo. Jumbo made no mistake from a one v one situation to open the scoring.

With this win, Albirex maintains its 14 points lead over second placed Tampines who beat Hougang Utd 2-0 tonight, albeit Tampines has 2 games in hand.
