SPL 7th Leg vs Warriors FC "Hoshino's Brace Enough to Fend Off Warriors' Late Surge"
Striker Shuhei Hoshino scored a goal at each half to see off the challenge of Warriors FC, who is still looking for their first win of their season.
At the 20th minute, left back Kenya Takahashi broke down the left wing and passed to an unmarked Hoshino. Hoshino shot past the Warriors GK to give the White Swans an early lead.
The White Swans continued their dominance in the second half. This time, right winger Riku Moriyasu penetrated the right side and sent in a teasing cross for Hoshino to head into the net. 2 nil, 71st minute.
The White Swans took its foot off the gas after the 2nd goal and allowed the Warriors to start attacking. Warriors danger man, Jonathan Behe, found space in the 79th minute and pulled a goal back.
The Warriors continued to press for the equaliser and had a big shout for a penalty when they claim the ball hit an Albirex Defender's arm. But the referee waved played on.
Albirex held on until the final whistle and make it 7 wins out of 7 to maintain its perfect record for the season.
