Albirex Singapore PTE LTD (Headquarters: Singapore, CEO, Daisuke Korenaga) and Sport Singapore (Headquarters: Singapore, CEO, Lim Teck Yin) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding ActiveSG Football Academy.

Under the MOU, Albirex Singapore PTE LTD and Sport Singapore will conduct an Albirex-ActiveSG Football Program for boys and girls aged between 6 to 12 years old, twice a week together.

In addition, Albirex Singapore PTE LTD will provide opportunities for players and coaches to goon an overseas training and cultural exchange program in Niigata, Japan.

We have been contributing to Singapore football for fourteen years and this will be a big step towards realising our goal of becoming a local club.. Albirex acts as a bridge between Japan and Singapore through sporting activities. In addition to the Albirex-ActiveSG Football Programme, we also have the Yuhua Albirex Football Academy (YAFA) which is currently in its 4th year of running. These two programmes will be important pillars for us to assess our performance. We will continue to work hard to expand these activities to benefit more Singaporeans”
