The White Swans squander the chance to narrow the gap with leaders DPMM Brunei when they allowed Home Utd to come back from 1-3 down to a 3-3 draw.

Home Utd drew first blood with young striker Amiruldin Asraf at the 32nd minute, but the White Swans equalised quickly when right winger Yosuke Nakagawa cut in from the right to send a left footed curler 4 minutes later.

The first half ended 1-1.

18 year old striker Zamani earned a free kick for the White Swans at the edge of the box at the 56th minute. Kaishu Yamazaki stepped up for the free kick and the Home Utd goalkeeper could only parry his shot into the path of Hiroyoshi Kamata who gleefully tapped the ball into the empty net.

At the 79th minute, captain Kyoga Nakamura lobbed the goalkeeper from near the half way line to put the White Swans 1-3 up.

However, the lead did not last long as 3 minutes later, the White Swans conceded an inexplicable penalty which Song Uiyong tucked away. 2 minutes later, the White Swans conceded another goal to Shahril Ishak during a scramble from a corner kick.

The White Swans will be ruing their chance to win this game as they had a good lead which only lasted 5 minutes. They will seek the chance to put this right when they face Geylang International in 8 days time on 26 July at the Tampines Hub.
