Hougang Utd became the first team to deal the White Swans defeat in Jurong East Stadium for 3 years and 8 months since November 2015.
2 quick goals in 6 minutes in the first half handed the Cheetahs the initiative in the tie. National Team winger, Faris Ramli earned a soft penalty in the 25th minute which striker Stipe Plazibat converted.
Plazibat scored his second goal in the 31st minute when centre back Kaishu Yamazaki lost possession in the midfield area.

The loss meant that DPMM stretched its lead at the top of the table to 4 points as it overcame the Young Lions 1 nil tonight.
