2019 SPL 10th Leg vs Brunei DPMM FC "Dominant White Swans Held By DPMM"
For the second time this season, the White Swans were held by a resolute DPMM defence tonight at Jurong East Stadium.
Due to the Ramadan Period, kickoff was delayed to 830pm. However, the late timing didn't stop the White Swans from attacking the DPMM from the word go.
It seemed that DPMM were intent to keep their defence tight for the whole match and left their top striker Andrei Varonkou isolated up front.
The first half ended scoreless with the only notable save by DPMM GK Wardun Yussof over right winger Horikoshi's long distance shot.
The White Swans continued to huff and puff for the 2nd half but could not find a breakthrough.
The final score remain nil-nil.
With the draw, the White Swans remains at third place in the league standings.
