Albirex Niigata Football Club (Singapore) will be establishing “ALBIREX SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUND” from 2017.

【What is ALBIREX SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUND?】
ALBIREX SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUND will be established to further enhance the relationship and exchange between Japan and Singapore through Sports. We will be sending 2 Singaporean kids to Niigata, Japan in 2017 for its first year of this fund. Players will experience not only Japanese football training sessions but also Japanese culture.

We will be establishing “ALBIREX SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUND” to give back to our community, Singapore and Niigata, Japan through Sports. I wish this fund will provide a great opportunity for enhancing the sporting relationship between both countries. I am looking forward to seeing the smiles of the kids joining this program.

【Remarks】
It has been 13 years since Albirex Niigata FC (Singapore) was established. We have been reaching out a local community through Sports since then.
Since 2013, we have started an initiative to donate S$1 for every spectator to come to watch our football matches in Jurong East Stadium. The money will be donated to Yuhua Community Sports Club, who will channel the funds for poor families to participate in sport activities and for family bonding. One of these sports activities is the Yuhua Albirex Football Academy, which is to provide children with the platform to develop their football skills and learn life values through football.
